We are happy to share with all our supporters that Intercambios Puerto Rico has achieved another milestone in its road towards openning clinical and psychological services for individuals who are homeless and individuals who have problematic drug use. These communities are often discriminated against and have none to limited access to appropriate physical health and psychological services. Part of the mission of our organization has always been to provide quality services for these discriminated communities. After an arduous process, our organization has finally been approved by health insurance companies to provide physical and psychological health services to its members. This is a big step towards achieving sustainability for our services and moves us one step closer towards creating a standalone clinic with a harm reduction model.
