SHARE NGO has since the attack of COVID-19 worldwide got involved in the fight against the epandamic by hiring a local facility and staff to help in the crisis to save rural households affected by COVID-19, cases were overwhelming government facilities which are centralized in big cities and towns.

The locals, Rural poor needed some help from medical personnel in area where it was not possible to access such help, our unit lack oxygen, sanitizer, glove's, and protective services for Rural medical personnel.

The risk of contracting COVID-19 was very high among our rural health. Volunteer's, who worked day and night no shifts since our staff were only five and no pay was available and we would like to thank their team leader now unit medical director for the courage he put to make sure the cases received bytthe unit are given basic case management before making referrals to regional or district hospital for better management.

Covid didn't spare children, elderly people and pregnant mothers most of whom had a breathing challenge., Because ambulance service was not at our facility, and it's still a big challenge in many rural areas, it lead to death of many cases, and many accident cases due to the new road the government recently constructed in the area and district.

Despite our input in rural community healthcare, we have not gained any donor to particularly help in the area of health of local facility the is officially recognized by the government of Uganda and mandated to help in providing health care center to support where government needs intervention.

By making this report we request for your help to do ate any mount now to help the medical personnel, staff and unit be able to purchase basic medical equipment, and protective services for the rural medical personnel.

International volunteers are  highly recommended and welcome to help the unit and grow donor support and donating medical equipment to save the situation. Much appreciations to any willing sponsor to build a maternity wards for rural women, we have one small room not even enough to fit one bed and the doctor and nurse have a mat on the floor for the delivery's of babies and the good news since we started we have had over 50 women giving birth in our facility since December 2021 to date.

Form the pictures attached, you can see our medical rented unit is very small and needs expansion to help support more patients in the community, also the basic equipment required are hand written and prices given in Uganda shillings, one item purchased at a time will get us to a better position and positive side

Presently, sick children are treated under tree shade and those needing àdmissions or hospital beds, and elderly people are need lot of health support these come with lot of non communicable disease, diabetes, blood pressure and Covid makes their management very complicated.

Transport of the sick, mostly sick mother, seriously needing surgeries and transfer to main government facilities is a big problem, many lives lost along the way, as many families use bicycles and motorcycles to bring a mother for delivery or an accident case for first aid.

We would do a better job of your help in received timely and we pray one volunteer will come to site and evaluate the needs of the health facility serving poor in the rural areas.

Thank you again for choosing to donate for our rural children, women, and elderly health opportunity, made possible by your on going donations.
