This project plans to build a village midwifery care home in Aparis village. It will act as a maternity waiting home or birth center aimed at reducing maternal and neonatal mortality in rural or underserved areas. This facility will provide safe, comfortable, and culturally appropriate care near the homes of expectant mothers, reducing the need for long-distance travel during labour
Aparis village faces one of the greatest public health challenges in the world, how to reduce the neonatal and maternity In an emergency, a referral is often challenging due to transport shortages, with women often brought to facilities on foot for several kilometers, increasing risk to the mother and unborn child.
Although challenges remain high, We will ensure that the maternity care facility is constructed to sufficiently cover the costs of providing the services lacking in the village. To provide comprehensive antenatal care and ensure that pregnant women plan and are prepared for the birth, and to strengthen the obstetric care provided within facilities.
Increasing access to safe delivery and family planning services within rural communities increases the opportunities for women to have positive outcomes for their pregnancies as well as to plan and achieve their desired family size.
