Dear Patrons,

As we enter the beginning of the academic year 2018-19 at the Isha Vidhya schools, there are several exciting things that are happening in your project. We wanted to keep you updated on the things that are about to happen, and the changes in the donation options.

There is a possibility of a new Isha Vidhya school being opened in this year or next year! We anticipate infrastructure requirements for this new school and hence we are planning to make changes to the donation options reflecting the infrastructure needs.

During the 2017 year-end campaign, we added a recurring donation option to fund sponsorships for students’ education in this project. As currently we have to accommodate the infrastructure needs, we are planning to remove those recurring donation options that are related to education sponsorships. We have already communicated to the donors who are doing the recurring donations for education sponsorships individually to let them know that this is planned. While the recurring donations made so far for this purpose ($40, $60 and $80 recurring options) will be used for the education sponsorships, further recurring donations made with the same amounts might be used for infrastructure purposes wherever applicable.

The past year had been quite exciting in terms of funding the requirements through Globalgiving, and we expect the same or more momentum moving forward. Our donations options are a very important component in our fundraising strategy, and we take every care to make sure that all aspects are addressed while we make any changes to them, and keep the donors informed well in advance. We plan to make these changes by June 15^th, 2018.
