Safety is a very important, integral part of Isha Vidhya schools. Fire is a serious threat, and fire extinguishers are critical installations at our schools. Not only these fire extinguishers are installed, it is important that everyone at the school are also trained to use them when there is a need.
Recently, all the fire extinguishers at the 8 Isha Vidhya schools in Tamilnadu are replenished. We are glad to state that donations raised through Globalgiving has been used for this purpose. The students and the staff were also trained on the usage of the fire extinguishers. We are attaching the pictures of the same.
We are also attaching the bills pertaining to the purchases of the new equipment, and the photo of one of the fire extinguishers.
