Bhavashri studies at Erode Isha Vidhya school. Her mother is a tailor who stitches towels. Bhavashri loves the education offered at the school, especially the Tamil long story cards.
Bhavashri shares, “The story of Kayalvizhi that is depicted in the Tamil copy story card impacted me very much. I loved the way Kayalvizhi and her family takes care of the birds in the fallen nest from a tree nearby. I would like to take care of the things and people nearby. Kayalvizhi’s story is very close to my heart. I love Tamil copy story card method very much. I have started keeping some rice regularly for the birds which come to the tree next to our house. I feel happy about that!”
As you can see, the Tamil Long Story cards are making an impact on students’ lives like that of Bhavashri. Storytelling is one of the best methods to educating children, and the cards play an important role in that.
