Airytails, a Bangalore based company working to nurture the dreams and ambitions of youngster, conducted a one day Aero-modelling workshop at Dharmapuri School. Airytails conducts works shops and gives career guidance in aviation and aerospace. The team created an eagerness for aerospace by guiding the students to make paper plane. They made 2 types of paper planes, of which one was that paper plane model which has the world record of having covered the maximum distance. The students tested their paper plane by throwing it in the air.
The structure of the plane, types of planes and mechanism of airplanes were simply explained with the paper planes. A short video on the evolution of aircrafts and attempts made while testing the designed aircraft model motivated the students and created an interest towards aerospace. At the end, the 2 minute trailer of the movie "Paper planes" nailed it.
