As part of the Isha Vidhya’s Government School
Support Programme, sports materials such as
Throwball, Basketball, Carrom Board, Hurdles,
Adjustable Agility Ladder, VolleyBall, Shuttle
Rackets, Throwball post, Chess Boards, Football,
Javelins, etc., were provided to the 22 Government
schools supported by Isha Vidhya in the 3 districts
of Tirupur, Coimbatore and Salem.
This was done to ensure that government school
students have access to sports material to play
sports like their private school counterparts, and
to enhance their skills.
Medals, trophies, shields, and certificates were
also provided to recognise and applaud talents
through conducting sports day and annual sports
events.
We are attaching a few pictures about what was
donated. We are very glad that we are able to
support the Government schools as well in the
areas that we work in.
