Shares Sridevi, a grade 10 teacher at the
Erode Isha Vidhya school:
“I am willing to adapt to any situation now.
I initially found it difficult to hold online
classes from my remote village due to poor
network connectivity. Often, I have uploaded
videos and lessons after midnight since the
connectivity is somewhat better. I think it is
the eagerness of my students that drives me
to keep working into the night. Their devotion
towards studies is so total that we cannot help
but match it up with all the support we can
extend. Of course, nothing compares to being
together in school – meeting friends, sharing
thoughts, smiling faces, helping each other –
the list goes on. I pray that we overcome this
covid situation soon and go back to the
ever-loving, green garden (of students).”
It’s heartening to know about such dedication
from our teachers! Tenth grade in particular
is very important for the school and the
students, as that’s the year the students will
be facing their first public examination! We
thank Teacher Sridevi from the bottom of
our heart.
