Durga is a 11th grade student in
Cuddalore Isha Vidhya school.
Durga's mother Rajalakshmi runs
a small grocery store in their
village in the state of Tamil Nadu,
India.
“Since the lockdown, I earn little
or nothing. Customers have not
been able to earn money and are
unable to spend any. I am finding
it difficult to make ends meet –
we are even falling short of food
for the children. But I want Durga
to study well, so I let her use my
smartphone for her online lessons.
It makes me so happy to see my
child learning so many things.
Durga should study well and
become a doctor one day, this is
my dream for her”, says Rajalakshmi,
with an empty wallet but a heart
full of ambition for her daughter.
Parents like Rajalakshmi have great
hopes and ambitions for their children.

a small amount, which will make a
huge difference in offering education
for them. The link to start a recurring
