Namaskaram,

My journey with Isha Vidhya began
in 2014 as a school coordinator in the
Government School Support Program
(GSSP) which is part of Isha's outreach
project in education. Two years later,
I was promoted as a supervising coordinator,
and three years thereafter, I was promoted
as the Principal of Isha Vidhya Dharmapuri.

Before I worked on the GSSP project, I had
never nteracted with government and senior
officials, but was able to work effortlessly
after undergoing the training by the academic
team. They trained me to handle issues with
government officials, train teachers, and prepare
content – and in my experience, I have never
een any school give so much importance to
the training of teachers.

Our efforts in government schools have been
very effective with students doing very well
in exams and so, we were further allocated
around 120 government schools in 6 districts.

When I became the Principal, the team once
again helped me make the transition since the
methodology used in Isha Vidhya schools is
different from that used in government schools.
At Isha Vidhya, I'm able to interact with students
more closely and appreciate and encourage
their talents.

Before joining Isha, I only had teaching
experience, but during my journey here I
got the opportunity to learn so much. I'm
computer savvy now, I can prepare content,
train teachers, engage effectively with
government officials as well as parents,
manage administrative work, and lead
by example.

I feel really proud to be working at Isha
Vidhya and I see myself always working
here. I am thankful to everybody who has
helped me grow professionally.

All this was possible because of the grace
of Isha Education’s founder Sadhguru.
