Dr. Raghukumar, a practicing advocate
from Hyderabad and a Gandhian, recently
conducted a comprehensive “Get Mentored”
session on the Constitution of India for the
students of Isha Vidhya. He narrated it like
a story, and even discussed the constitutions of
other countries –making it an interesting
discourse.
The students as well as the teachers who
attended the session learned new things
such as how the Indian Constitution was
drafted in public, as opposed to the USA
Constitution, which was drafted by the
founding fathers and did not involve
common citizens in the process.
Vishnupriya, a Grade 9 student, says that
Dr. Raghukumar’s sharings were very
understandable. The interactions made the
understanding easier.
Sridevi, a Social Science teacher, says that
the insights she has gained from this
session will help her to teach the subject
better!
