70 Isha Vidhya students explored new
possibilities at a 10-day live online
workshop conducted by Chennai-based
Vaayusastra Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. By
drawing and making paper models,
students were able to enhance their
imagination and creative skills, and
to deepen their interest in aeronautics,
aerospace, and physics-related studies.
A team of professional theatre artists
and aeronautical engineers conducted
the science and story sessions about
space, aeronautics, and its history in
a play-way method through stories,
videos, and activities.
Students aspiring to become astronauts,
pilots, and scientists found the workshop
helpful and inspiring. Our science
teachers learned new ways to keep
students engaged by employing stories
and paper models to teach new scientific
concepts.
As the schools had been closed for
the Covid-19 pandemic, online sessions
like these provide great education
experience to the students of Isha
Vidhya. We thank everyone who
made these kind of sessions possible.
We thank you for your continued
support to Isha Vidhya, and we
look forward for your continued
support.
