Here are some of the online events that
we devised to train and motivate our
staff for online teaching.
Discovery Research: From September
2020 – March 2021, we trained our
principals, vice-principals, and 40
teachers on how to organize and
research information and make a
PowerPoint presentation from it.
Communication Workshop: Swami
Ekapada, who teaches at Isha Home
School, led a month-long online
communication workshop for the
Central Academic Team (CAT) in
May 2021 which was a fun and
interactive learning experience.
The CAT is now training the principals
and vice-principals, and doing a pilot
session with students before taking it
further.
Guest sessions: Once every two
weeks, we invite speakers from all
over the world to share their knowledge
with our principals, vice-principals,
CAT, and students on topics like 3D
Printing, Teaching English with AI,
etc. Some recent guests were
Prof. Muki Haklay – Prof. Univ. of
London, Gary Bolles – Educator,
Speaker, and Entrepreneur.
As the schools had been closed for
the Covid-19 pandemic, online sessions
like these provided great support
to the staff of Isha Vidhya. We thank
everyone who made these kind of
sessions possible.
We thank you for your continued
support to Isha Vidhya, and we
look forward for your continued
support.
