Happy New Year from Isha Vidhya !

With your unwavering support for our awesome India rural education project, I am happy to share that Isha Vidhya has raised US$37684.32 through 250 donations in 2014!

We would like to take a moment to quickly recap the high points of 2014 in terms of donations.

• Donations through Global Giving UK site of Isha Vidhya: We received our first GBP (Great Britain Pounds) donation in 2014!  We would like to let you know that those who are inclined to donate in GBP can do so from Isha Vidhya's Global Giving UK site at :

  and thus can avoid currency conversion charges while doing the donations in US$ when the source of funds is in GBP.  We would appreciate if you could spread the word among your contacts in UK who do not know about Isha Vidhya and the great work it is doing.

• Gift Card donations: We raised US$1375 through 24 donations through employee gift cards.  Employee gift cards are a great way to show support for the organisation/work that you care for. We appreciate all the gift card donations made by corporate employees to Isha Vidhya. We also request you to talk to your circle of corporate friends to check if they have a gift card program that is tied up with Global Giving, to donate to Isha Vidhya. As ever, we request your repeat gift card donations. When you get a gift card, think of Isha Vidhya!
  
  
• Recurring donations: We have 4 monthly recurring donations going on for Isha Vidhya. Recurring donations are a great way to split big bulk donations into multiple small donations spread over long periods of time. It's a great way to show your continuous support for the great cause of Isha Vidhya. Our big 'Thank you' for the donors who are already doing recurring donations for Isha Vidhya. If you are inclined to start a recurring donations, the process is very straight-forward and user-friendly, but in case if you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at global.giving@ishavidhya.org and we will help you with setting it up.

• Tribute & 'Honour of' donations: Isha Vidhya received US$1807 worth of donations from 14 donors in 2014 as tribute/'Honour of' donations. We encourage you to use this feature for tributing the donations in the name of someone you love or in the honor of someone you respect.
