Dear Patrons,
It is important that children learn the roles of
various professions and their importance from
their early life. This enables them to understand
the roles, respect them, and be inclusive in the
broader society.
Some time back, we shared our school students
visiting a weaving center, and understanding the
significance of weaving. We also shared stories
how theme days are conducted at schools for
teaching various concepts.
Recently, theme day was conducted for Class 1
about roles in society professions at the Dharmapuri
school. Students were asked to come to school dressed
up as people of various professions in daily life. Students
were asked to dress up like farmer, doctor, teacher,
postman, plumber, policeman, etc.
Students participated in the activity with great enthusiasm.
They acted like the person of profession that they had come
dressed as and spoke about their work. Through the activity,
they learned to recognize helpers in daily life.
