Nagercoil school's science club recently held valedictory
function where they invited Dr. Devaprakash and Mrs. Savithra,
Professor at Ayyappa college as Chief Guests.

The program started with an invocation. Pranavdurga of 9th
grade welcomed all. Science club report was read by Mrs. Lekshmi.

Demonstration and explanation of the prize winning model
“Induction heater” was given by the young Isha Vidhya student
scientist Harish! Chief guest Dr. Devaprakash addressed the
students telling them with a story which conveyed message of
unity, respect for elders and making choices wisely.

Mrs. Savithra also addressed the students. The science exhibition
prizes, science talent exam certificates and prizes were handed to
the students by the chief guest.

'' 'Imagine Invent and Inspire' is the motto of the science club.
I congratulate all my teachers who did a wonderful work for the
science club. The question wall created by the teachers inspired
the students to ask questions and the students tried to give solutions
for them.The club has conducted the science exhibition to tap the
talents of the students. This gave them the opportunity for the
teachers to select the project done by Harish of grade 8.  His project
won the district level and state level science exhibition. Once again,
I congratulate all the science club members for their effort and
participation.Wishing you all the best for the year 2016-'17 too!"

Inspiring teachers, and clubs like the 'Science Club' instill the
importance of subjects and practical applications among the
students of Isha Vidhya schools.
