93 Chennai volunteers visited Isha Vidhya Villupuram School
on 20th August 2016. It was a first visit to any of the Isha Vidhya
school for most of them and they were very curious!
The way Isha Vidhya schools are designed, architecture supports a
lively, learning environment. Well lit, airy, with plants and trees a
natural aspect of design element, kids and staff members feel supported.
This is the first thing that strikes the visitors.
Volunteers were warmly welcomed by school Principal, Mrs. Venkateswari.
She gave them a brief introduction about Isha Vidhya methodology. After this,
they were taken around the school to observe school activities. They visited
Power English class, the Library, Computer Aided Learning (CAL) class,
Learning Materials, V-SAT, Reading Comprehension and DVD class.
The students who were guiding them through the tour explained about
the methodology practiced in math, physics, chemistry, biology labs.
The visitors were quite surprised to observe the activities in our labs.
The students had also prepared a cultural program for the visitors which
they thoroughly enjoyed. They shared their experience by summarizing:
"We were overwhelmed by the dedication of teachers, disciplined students,
and the extensive infrastructure!"
Wouldn't you love to visit an Isha Vidhya school? We bet you would!
