Summer camps at Isha Vidhya schools are meant to
enhance the capabilities of students by working on
specific areas like motor skills, hand-eye coordination,
analytical abilities development, etc., by doing specific
activities.
The Coimbatore Isha Vidhya school conducted a 3-day
summer camp for the Kindergarten kids. The teachers
designed the summer camp which included carefully
chosen activities like sorting the objects (to improve the
children's ability to handle their immediate environment),
making straw necklaces, balancing walk with water, sand
play, etc.
A make-shift pool was made for the children to play with
water. A movie was shown, and games were conducted
for parents. The activities concluded with a review wherein
it was decided to conduct the summer camp for a longer
duration and to have separate camps for the upper
kindergarten and lower kindergarten students.
We are attaching the photos from the event for you.
