Life is hard for those who are living in rural India, and especially
difficult for those who are caught in the poverty cycle. For children
who are from this background, attending the school daily is Iitself
a daunting task. In spite of all these, if students excel in their
studies, and manage to score very high marks in the State public
examinations, it's something we cannot ignore their success!
Isha Vidhya Villupuram school's 10th grade examinations toppers
were felicitated in their school assembly recently. The first 3 positions
holders and those who had scored 100% in a subject (18 of them!)
were given shields. The shields were sponsored by the PET
teacher Mr. Manikumar. It proves the commitment of the teachers
in encouraging students to achieve more and more!
We are attaching a few pictures from the event for you to take a look.
If you would like to help these students study well by sponsoring a
bit each month towards their school infrastructure, you can consider
starting a monthly recurring donation at:

We thank you for everything you did for Isha Vidhya, and we look
forward to your continued engagement.
Best Regards.
