Hello, Grow Ghana Family!

2025 is off to an exciting start, and we’ve been buzzing with activity—from robotics and teacher training to exciting cross-border opportunities and new team additions! Whether you’re a long-time supporter or just joined our community, here’s a vibrant snapshot of what we’ve been up to—and what’s ahead.

Building Bridges Across Borders – West Africa Weltwärts Network (WAWN) Meeting, Togo

In January, we had the amazing opportunity to attend the West African Weltwärts Network meeting in Togo. Connecting with fellow changemakers from across the region was a powerful moment. We shared ideas, explored collaboration opportunities, and showcased how Grow Ghana is using tech and creativity to transform learning for underserved communities. Expect more exciting regional partnerships soon!

Meet Our New Team Member

We’re thrilled to welcome Sheila Adjana Banawe to the Grow Ghana family! They’ll be helping us boost our social media presence and play a key role in our training workshops. With a passion for storytelling and digital engagement, they're already bringing fresh energy to the team. Be sure to follow us on Instagram/Facebook to catch their magic in action!

Teachers Who Code – Novastar Robotics & Coding Workshop

We hosted an interactive Coding and Robotics Workshop for Novastar Academy teachers this February. From Scratch programming to hands-on mBot training, these educators dove into the world of STEM with enthusiasm and creativity. The goal? Empowering them to bring 21st-century learning into their classrooms and inspire the next generation of tech thinkers.

Ghana Play Fest: Showcasing Robotics and Sparking Young Minds!

This March, Grow Ghana proudly participated in the Ghana Play Fest, where we exhibited our exciting robotics workshop to kids from all walks of life. We also organized a mini Robotics Leaderboard Competition, allowing young participants to test their creativity and compete with their bot-building skills. The enthusiasm was electric, and our booth buzzed with curiosity and innovation. Huge applause to all the brilliant young minds who joined us—you made it unforgettable!
