A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the Jambiani Center in Zanzibar, Tanzania!
In September over 70 students from our adult English classes had around round of final exams, and the results were incredible! 30 students passed their exams and moved to the next class.
More recently, the students in low, medium and high class took their midterm exams and the test scores were even better than the results in September! We are so proud of them and their progress.
We are happy to report that attendance has been at an all-time high for female students! Having 50% female presence and participation is a goal for all African Impact Foundation projects and we are continuously looking for ways to increase opportunities for girls and women in the communities we work in.
Last week for community project, the students got involved in ecobricking! We are exploring the best building plans for the Computer Center and ecobricking is one option we are considering. The expansion of the Jambiani Center will increase our students skills and allow for more employment opportunities.
We are looking forward to seeing the continued impact that this project has on the community in Zanzibar!
Thank you again for making this possible.
