Hello friends of Prime Trust!
The Janani Home children just completed their summer holidays this year! Some of them had a chance to return home to spend time with their family members, while others stayed with us at the Janani Home and got to participate in the Summer Camp. We had wonderful volunteers from France, Netherlands and Germany who helped teach them (and other kids enrolled in the Summer Camp) a lot of interesting and fun things. The kids learned French, spoken English, computer classes, light exercise and in return taught the volunteers how to speak Tamil, dance and sing! What a great time it was!
During the summer break, we got to celebrate some birthdays (which is always a great source of fun and celebration for everyone at Prime Trust). It was Subashri’s 5th birthday! Subashri and the girls LOVE eating chocolate truffle cake, and so we ordered a giant cake for all of us to share.
We will update everyone with photos of the new Janani Home that your donations helped fund! In addition, we will show you some of the new items we were able to purchase for the girls to use toward their education.
