Help Vitalize Nine Bulgarian Villages

Dear donors,

We have all been living in a hard situation. The COVID 19 crisis still not gone, another great disaster is killing people. The war against Ukraine is so close to Bulgaria, and we suffer with the thousands of women and children trying to escape it! For decades, we have been living with the mindset that peace exists by default - now we see it is a value that needs to be deffended every day.

Most of the people and organizations in Bulgaria do their best to support the Ukrainians - by donating clothes, food and money, by giving shelter and medinices, by providing medical and mental aid. Still, we are aware that no help can compensate the hardships these people have been going through, and we all hope this monstrous war will soon come to an end.

At the same time, we have been preparing the new edition of our Jazz Under The Stars Of The Devetaki Plateau - 2022. We analyzed the seven editions so far and identified the strengths and challenges. Based on that we developed a concept for the coming eighth festival - date, place, contents, and participants. We decided to focus on the young musicians and give them the floor. We planned a music workshop prior to the concert on Saturday as well as a Sunday Jazz Matinee - for kids and for adults.

We think it is extremely important, especially in hard moments not to stop, not to give up. To address our messages through the language of music, to give people hope and peace of mind. The war affects our community as well, and our humble efforts aim at giving chance to culture, music, and live communication to stand against terror and imperialism.

Dear donors, we would not have managed to get so far without your support! Thanks to all of you we have developed this humble initiative into the the biggest-scale event in our nine villages. It allows us to invite people from all over the country and show that music is a strong weapon - it unites people and worships love and life!
