Winter Update from Smile Givers International
Dear Supporters,
As winter settles in across Northwest Syria, the temperatures are already dropping fast—and for families living in displacement camps, the cold season is beginning to hit hard. At Smile Givers International (formerly Bonyan), we want to share an update on the situation and remind you just how important your support is right now.
While many people around the world are able to prepare their homes for the winter, thousands of families in the camps have no such option. They are still living in fragile tents with limited insulation, struggling to stay warm as the nights get colder. For children, the elderly, and those with health conditions, the risk is even greater.
Your donations to the Keep 100 Families Warm in NW Syria campaign help us provide essentials such as:
Winter clothing
Heating fuel
Blankets
Emergency support for the most vulnerable families
These basic supplies can be the difference between a family enduring winter safely or suffering through dangerous cold.
Winter has only just begun, and it will continue to grow harsher in the coming weeks. This is the time when your support matters most. Every contribution—no matter the size—helps us reach another family in need and gives them a fighting chance against the severe weather ahead.
Thank you for standing with displaced families and for helping us bring warmth, comfort, and dignity to those who have nowhere else to turn.
With gratitude,
Smile Givers International Team
