Dear Friends,
Winter in northwest Syria is not just cold—it is unforgiving. For families who have already lost their homes, their loved ones, and their sense of safety, the freezing temperatures are another layer of hardship they should not have to face alone.
Thanks to your support, we have once again reached those families. Your donations have helped provide winter kits—warm wool clothes, thick blankets, heaters, and coal—to displaced families living in overcrowded camps. For a mother watching her children shiver in a tent, a blanket or a heater is not just a comfort; it is a lifeline.
But the need is overwhelming. Eighty percent of Syrians live below the poverty line, and over three million people are in urgent need of winter assistance. That number has grown by more than a million in just the past year. We set out to help 100 families, but so many more are still waiting.
We are still on the ground. Still distributing. Still trying to reach every family we can before the worst of the cold sets in.
Your continued support means another child sleeps warm tonight. Another family holds on to hope.
Please, donate now to help us keep more families safe this winter.
With gratitude,
The Smile Givers International Team
