Esther a single mother was first supported in 2018 at the Tole community, she was struggling to survive when the Reach Out team found her and conducted a social inquiry on her. Esther is very hardworking and brave, she single handedly took care of her children despite the challenges she was facing.
She was really happy and excited when she received her first grant and she couldn’t stop saying thank you. Without any hope of rescue finally she found hope. Esther started with opening of bale cloth (second hand cloth) and she now buys in bulk and has a lot of supplies to meet up with her customers demand.
These were the exact words of Esther at the time she was given her first financial support: “With the money I will “cut bale”. This means I will not buy clothes one by one like I do now, but buy a whole package. It´s expensive so I could not do it yet, but the profit is better. I will get nice things, before anybody has opened the bale and checked what is there. I will make sure this money brings more money”.
Today in Tole is she emerged as one of the strong business woman in that community and we are so proud of her. She does her business diligently and even sells outside the community. She has not stopped thanking the donors for their generous support. Esther has also been receiving support from Reach Out team, financial and management support to see that her business expands.
Esther once said “With the money you gave me I´m going to grow a business so big someday in the future you will hear about Esther”. And she is really determined to make that future she dreamt of comes to past.
Thank you for all your generous donations, more girls like Esther are been reached out to.
