How we impacted in 2026 with your support

By Winston Ashby | Executive Director and Founder

Federal funding challenges in 2025–2026 have significantly impacted both businesses and nonprofits across the United States.
Many businesses are experiencing reduced access to capital as federal loan and grant programs have been scaled back.
Small and emerging businesses are particularly affected by these reductions. Workforce development cuts have weakened the pipeline of skilled and entry-level workers. This has made it harder for industries like tech, healthcare, and construction to recruit talent.Federal funding instability has also created uncertainty in contracts and procurement processes. Businesses relying on government partnerships face delays and cancellations. Overall, companies and nonprofits are facing a more uncertain and constrained economic environment.
WE stood stong in 2026 through community support and investment, and through partners like you and GlobalGiving.
