Cancer Sequencing Fundraising Update - Dec 2024

By Martin Fenton | Treasurer, Karen Fenton Ovarian Cancer Fund

The Karen Fenton fund has now set the date of April 13th for the next annnual Karen Fenton Memorial run. Other then seeking permit for this event activities have been minimal these past few months.Next few weeks planning for this annual run will ramp up.

We are very grateful for all donations received through the GlobalGiving platform.

We have made great progress over the past few years to honor Karen's legacy. Our fundraising efforts culminated in the purchase of a cancer sequencing machine for CUH where Karen spent much of the final 2 years of her life.

We will also be reviewing options for further donations and support for cancer treatment and services. .

Thanks to everyone who has supported our fund over the past few years.
