The Kids for Kids initiative provides goats to orphaned, disabled, and underprivileged children in Uganda. The project aims to provide sustainable food security, nutrition, and economic stability solutions. Our project uniquely integrates community-based support networks and sustainable farming practices, ensuring long-term economic and nutritional benefits. By empowering the orphanage with the tools and knowledge to succeed, we are fostering self-sufficiency and resilience.
Our goat farming project addresses these challenges by providing young goats to the orphanages, providing comprehensive veterinary care, and agricultural training for staff and older children. The goats will be a reliable source of milk and meat, enhancing the children's nutritional intake. Selling surplus goat products generates income to purchase necessities. Additionally, the project educates children on agricultural knowledge and skills for future self-sufficiency.
This project provides 80 orphaned and disabled children with goats, and proper training establishes a basis for ongoing development and independence. The project will ensure lasting change for future generations by passing down the skills learned. Not only will this project transform the lives of the orphans, but it will also strengthen the surrounding community, creating a cycle of prosperity and resilience.
