KIDS Support Groups in Brazil

As this year comes to a close, we are thrilled to share some updates about the incredible progress of the KIDS Support Project in Brazil. It has been a year of fantastic work!

A key highlight has been the training of many new leaders and teachers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to leave a lasting impact on the lives of the children. Additionally, visits to various school locations and bases of support groups have ensured that vulnerable children and youth receive the care they need. Many children have benefited from these valuable education and prevention classes from Blue Cross Brazil, which are consistently well attended. New Kids and Teens Support Groups have also been implemented in different locations, which provide much-needed support for those in need across Brazil. This expansion is a fantastic step toward reaching even more young people! 

A regular support group has been established, meeting once a month, to work with juvenile offenders. Additionally, the "Free to Live" project has carried out impactful actions within the provisional socio-educational service center in Blumenau/SC. These efforts aim to create a safe space, inspire positive change, and bring hope to young individuals facing challenging circumstances. The work with offenders is incredibly important, as it provides a support structure that helps offer perspective to young people. It allows them to feel seen and heard in the midst of their struggles!

It has been a year of impactful work, and we are deeply grateful for the dedication and commitment of everyone involved in this meaningful project! We are excited for the year ahead and the continued support for those who need it most.
