Kill malaria program was started by the RSKS India for the marginalized people who suffer from the mosquito born disease and involve the people who live in slum areas. RSKS INDIA also runs the cleanliness program and distribute the mosquito net. Due to which many positive changes can be seen which we can know by this report.

My name is Govind (Name Changed) and I am 34 years old. I live in the marginalized slum area. Near our slum area all the garbage of the city is deposited which give birth to the mosquitoes in this area. Due to this, last year I was suffering from malaria and I had faced so many problems.

During this time, a program was organized by the RSKS in this slum area in which I also participated. This program created awareness many people about mosquito related diseases and give many ways to protect or stop them. In this program, I consulted the RSKS team member about my disease and then he gave me all the right information and gave advice me to go to the doctor. After that I have completed my treatment of malaria.

RSKS INDIA runs a cleanliness program and do clean all the slum areas to make them disease free. With the help of this program, all the people got awareness of the diseases and cleanliness and also I got the right direction to save my life from this dangerous disease. Today I am completely healthy and I can do my daily work and employment. My family is very happy as I am well now. l thanked the GG and the donors and RSKS INDIA for doing this wonderful work in our area.

Protection from malaria with Mosquito Nets !!

Mosquito is the biggest threat nowadays because of the change in the water level everywhere. Mosquito bite related diseases are increasing year by year. Dengue, malaria etc are very dangerous diseases bu by proper protection against mosquitoes we can surely stay away for these diseases. It is always seen that the people living in the slums are not aware of the diseases caused by mosquito and they do not know how to protect themselves from the bite of the mosquitoes and they do not get the proper cure at the right time and it leads to loss of their life.

RSKS INDIA is working to solve this problem by awaring these slum area people with the financial help provided by GG. Under this, an awareness program, mosquito net distribution is done one by one many times. In this chain, RSKS INDIA pointed out the slum areas which are far away from the city and made awareness camps over there. In these slum areas, the effect of mosquito bite was seen more so all the local people over there participated in these awareness camp to know the important knowledge of saving themselves from the mosquitoes. In this awareness camp people were told about how to save them from the mosquito bite as well as how to stop mosquitoes population.

At the end of this awareness camp, mosquito nets were distributed to these people so that they can have a sweet sleep without any fear of mosquito bite. The information provided from this awreness camp lead to cleanliness nearby the slum and water lodging problems are also solved so that mosquito population can also be controlled. All the slum & street area people can know sleep in peace and they thanked the donors and GG for this awarness camp in their area.
