The Food Bank of Honduras, through its Kilometro de Nutrición program, in the first 6 months of 2023 has delivered 4,551 pantries of nutritious and healthy food, such as fruits and vegetables rescued from the fields and other sectors of the country's productive chain. ; benefiting 1405 families belonging to vulnerable communities and in a situation of Food and Nutritional Insecurity, located in the Downtown District, Francisco Morazán; San Pedro Sula, Cortes; and, Marcovia, Choluteca.
The donations made by donors on the GlobalGiving platform contribute to the efforts made by different sectors, which has made it possible for the Food Bank of Honduras to achieve the expected results and thus continue to benefit pregnant and lactating women, children, adolescents, adults and older adults. who have little access and availability of food.
The Food Bank of Honduras and its team at the national level, thanks all the donors who have joined their noble work to fight hunger and malnutrition in our country.
