Through the Kilometer of Nutrition program from april to june 2024, the Food Bank of Honduras delivered 3,697 pantries of nutritious and healthy food, such as fruits and vegetables rescued from the countryside and other sectors of the country's productive chain.
We have benefited 1,232 families belonging to vulnerable communities and in situation of Food and Nutritional Insecurity, located in Francisco Morazán; Cortes; Santa Barbará and Atlántida.
Donations made by donors on the GlobalGiving platform contribute to the efforts made by different sectors, which has made it possible for the Food Bank of Honduras to achieve the expected results and thus continue to benefit pregnant and lactating women, children, adolescents, adults and older adults who have little access and availability of food.
The Food Bank of Honduras and its team at the national level, thanks all donors who have joined its noble work to combat hunger and malnutrition in our country.
