Centro Las Claras: New Opportunity for Teen Moms

Firstly, a heartfelt THANK YOU for your generous donations and unwavering support for The Las Claras Program. Your commitment has been instrumental in driving the success and impact of our work.

Over the past three months, we have welcomed 13 new mothers and their children into the program, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 48. Of these, 12 teenage mothers have successfully completed internships with various companies, and several have already secured employment with their host organizations. Additionally, 8 mothers are currently pursuing advanced courses to enhance their technological skills, while 12 more are set to begin their internships this month. We are thrilled to share that all 24 of these young women are on track to graduate in December 2024.

Throughout this period, we have continued to provide essential counseling and emotional support services. These resources are critical in helping our participants navigate personal challenges, allowing them to stay focused on their education and personal growth. Furthermore, we remain committed to ensuring comprehensive healthcare for both the mothers and their children, supporting their physical well-being and helping them meet vital developmental milestones.
