Every child deserves a safe school. Yet bullying leaves thousands of students anxious, depressed, and afraid to learn. With your support, this project will train 200 students and teachers across 10 schools to prevent and resolve conflicts through peer mediation, policy enforcement, and awareness campaigns. Together, we can create safer, inclusive schools where every child can thrive.
Bullying is widespread and often ignored, causing emotional trauma, absenteeism, and poor academic performance. Physical, verbal, and social bullying disrupts learning, while teachers often lack the skills to intervene. Left unchecked, bullying escalates, leaving students isolated, anxious, and at risk of long-term mental health challenges, undermining both school climate and community well-being.
We will implement a clear, evidence-based anti-bullying program in 10 schools. Teachers will receive practical training to identify and respond to bullying. Selected students will serve as peer mediators to resolve low-level conflicts, while student-led campaigns and anonymous reporting systems increase awareness and safety. This multi-layered approach ensures feasible, sustainable, and measurable results.
This program will transform 10 schools into safe, inclusive spaces for over 2,000 students. Bullying and violence will decrease, while mental health, attendance, and academic performance improve. Peer mediators gain lifelong leadership and conflict-resolution skills, empowering future community leaders.
