The war in Lebanon, which lasted from the last week of September to the last week of November 2024, resulted in widespread displacement and severe humanitarian needs. Thousands of families were forced to flee their homes, seeking refuge in collective shelters across Northern Lebanon. As the conflict subsided, many displaced households began returning to Beirut, often to homes that were damaged or lacked essential resources. The scale of displacement and the urgent need for psychological and material support necessitated a rapid and targeted humanitarian response. In response, PAH's local Partner, IHR, launched an emergency intervention to address the critical needs of displaced and recently returned families. The intervention focused on two main components:
