Following the relative quiet of Ramadan, all our project activities are running again as usual. Only, there is a subtle but distinct transformation happening: we are gradually moving into a new phase which is larger, deeper...
Our newly trained IAHV trainers have expressed the wish to receive more trainings and become fully equipped IAHV trainers so they can deliver more programs than the introductory Stress Relief and Resilience Workshops they are implementing now with great success. Therefore, we have started with them a trajectory of advanced trainings (see video). In the first 5-day advanced training in Ehden, they rested deeply, learnt new powerful techniques, reflected on life and their role, and became stronger and more skilled to shape a peaceful society. Some participants shared they felt immense relief from trauma's burdening their lives.
We are also linking up all the groups in Tripoli we have been working with, including children and adult participants, through various activities. Gradually a new community within Tripoli is emerging to uphold and spread a culture of peace.
We would like to thank you all warmly for supporting our work so generously during our fundraising campaign on World Refugee Day! With 22,600$ raised we are well supported to continue uplifting the lives of individuals and communities in Tripoli.
