694 STUDENTS TAKE PART IN THE 12TH YEAR

Dear donor,

In the beginning of the school term, Mentorship program started with Mentee trainings and 694 university students (65% female)started the journey.In the new year, 5 trainings for mentors were concluded and the details are as below:

Strengthening Mentoring Skills in the Digital World 10.01.2024 1.5 Hours ( Mentors)

How Am I As a Mentor? 17.01.2024 1.5 Hours ( Mentors)

DISC Personality Inventory 31.01.2024 2 Hours ( Mentors)

Evaluation Meeting 01.02.2024 1 Hour (Mentees)

Effective Communication 07.02.2024 1 Hour ( Mentors)

Listening Skills 14.02.2024 1 Hour (Mentors)

13 supervision events are planned for mentees and mentors until June, the closing month of the ÇYDD Mentorship Project. These activities can be increased in the process depending on the situation of the volunteer trainers and the needs of the mentees.

Institutional support for ÇYDD Mentoring Project continues. One of these supports is designed to provide mentoring and internship support for students affected by the earthquake. Necessary discussions and announcements have been made for cooperation, and an additional project for students affected by the earthquake has been brought to the implementation stage. On the other hand, with another institutional support aimed at attracting female mentees, online training will be provided to mentees for a period of 7 weeks as of the end of March. The trainings, which will last approximately one hour each, will focus on topics such as CV Preparation, focusing on strengths and aspects that need improvement, and self-awareness.
