Dear donor,

The 13th Term of the ÇYDD Mentorship Project was completed on June 13, 2025. To date, the project has facilitated approximately 5,000 mentor–mentee matches. In its 13th year, the project reached 63 branches and achieved 835 matches.

During this term, more than 30 hours of introductory training and approximately 30 hours of supervision were provided to mentors and mentees. In addition, the “First Step to My Career” training sessions for mentees, organized in collaboration with General Electric Vernova, continued throughout the term.

For the first time in the project’s history, a “Group Mentorship” program was introduced, opening a new area of practice for future terms. Moreover, ÇYDD branches actively supported the process by organizing various events, training sessions, and supervisions during the term. Photos from the closing events held in the branches are included at the end of this report.

Looking ahead to its 14th year, the project has set a target of 1,000 matches. Plans also include:

  • Strengthening collaboration with the “Internship is My Business” project (run by TÇYDV), in order to provide mentees with internship opportunities through corporate partnerships.
  • Expanding the project to new branches.

(Through the “Internship is My Business” project, approximately 20 young people, including many mentees, were provided with internship and part-time job opportunities during this term.)

Planning for the upcoming term was carried out during August 2025 meetings. In this context:

  • New calls for participation were made to branches.
  • Mentor applications were announced via digital platforms.
  • Communication was established with existing mentors to ensure their continued involvement.
  • A team of volunteer trainers was selected.
  • A draft training calendar for mentors and mentees was prepared.

As in previous terms, the process will continue with mentee applications, candidate interviews, and training sessions.

Thanks for your continuing support through our 13 year journey..
