By Dr. Vincent paul | Director

Dear change maker!

CHHASE hope you and your family stay safe and healthy.

First of all, We at CHHASE thanking you for your generous donation to help informal wage workers and our underprivileged children..

As Corona is still spreading in CHENNAI area, we requested our Elders and community  not to go out without any solid purpose. We are still conducting awareness against corona, safety, precaution, social distancing and hygiene is the only solution for the prevention. This is a Quick spreading disease as it gets spread by Patient and touch of the positive patient. Therefore it is very important to wear mask, hygiene, Precautions, keeping social distancing and staying at home.

With your generous contribution, Today we have distributed Rice, dhall, cooking oil .atta, suji, condiments, soap, mask, gloves and sanitizers to 180+ wage workers , apart from 780 people already issued, who are worst hit by COVID-19 lockdowns. This distribution will continue in another 8 more places. This is a timely support to informal sector workers to save them from hunger.

In this difficult situation, we are standing with our Neglected elders, children and community. Still we conduct door to door  motivation was organized by CHHASE India, in which we motivated to wear cloth-made masks, hygiene, Precautions, keeping social distancing and staying at home. So far more than 30000 cloth-made Re-usable safety masks have been made and distributed in different urban and rural areas. Along with this all the beneficiaries were also told about the use and maintenance of the mask. Because of our awareness program, our beneficiaries are safe.

With the help of your support, through community kitchens, we have so far provided 125000+ Meals to poor wage workers, agricultural labors, children and lonely elders and have to continue till the end of spreading of COVID-19. This provision play key role to stop the starvation and give confidence that there is someone to help them in critical COVID-19 crisis.

CHHASE Non profit is currently running a ''Livelihood program to COVID-19 Affected Families'' , who lost their earnings due to COVID-19 lockdowns. With our trainings, they can restart their livelihood.

In this critical juncture, CHHASE project expecting your support to spread our project to your friends and family.
