In Medellin-Colombia 23% of the population are children (approximately 572,000), but unfortunately due to the socioeconomic conditions of many sectors of the city, many of them are sadly faced with different types of abuse.
Physical abuse and sexual abuse are the most frequent. However, this figure also includes psychological abuse and neglect, a form of violence to which many of the children are exposed in their own homes and which is configured when their parents or caregivers do not provide the minimum conditions for their well-being.
In these situations, we call people like you, who can help us ensure the protection of children with contributions that will become better opportunities for them.
The number of children who need help to prevent this type of situation grows more and more, that is why in the Corporación Superarse, we expanded and as of August 1 we have 30 more children.
Now we will treat 80 children in the externship modality, who will receive care, love, food, school support, psychosocial support, recreation, health, guidance to families and everything necessary to keep their children's dreams alive and grow as healthy beings. contribute to society.
