Here at LGBT Voice want to share our profound appreciation for the donations that have kept our organization running for five good years. We thank and recognize the effort each and every one of our donors has made; thanks to all of you. It is evident that your support helped LGBT Voice become more visible and efficient serving hundreds of LGBT individuals, though our journey is a tough one, but with your support things seem much easier.
Through your generous support LGBT Voice was able to serve more than 600 LGBT individuals in all our programs which include emergency support legal support, training, counseling and guidance, referral for HIV testing and treatment and relocation to those who were forced to flee persecution.
The political environment is still hostile but we are managing, we successfully opened a new office in Mbeya and we are hoping to have another office in Arusha soon. Our goal is to reach our community easily especially when responding to emergency issues. There is progress, but much remains to be done, currently we are still conducting in-door training sessions in Mbeya and we want to reach as many LGBT individuals as possible before we move to Arusha
Please continue standing with us in this and help us build a strong LGBT movement that will ensure the general wellbeing of the LGBT community in Tanzania
