LigiOpen is now a formal league and the team is actively building the grassroots football community and partners. The team is currently focused on increasing the number of teams within Kisumu County - with two teams joined currently Pleateau Kings FC and Kilimo FC. The team is growing with the addition of new staff members.
The first version of the LigiOpen website is live at www.ligiopen.com and the team is creating documentation to provide a comprehensive guide for the teams to optimise the benefits of joining LigiOpen including displaying team information, scheduling matches, tracking player statistics, generating reports, and seeking support. Additionally, the website provides access to valuable resources, such as blogs, which offer insights, tips, and updates on best practices and industry trends.
About LigiOpen
LigiOpen supports small sports clubs in organising leagues, managing revenue and resourcing equipment and facilities to improve the income of 500 youth footballers and their families and create entrepreneurship opportunities for more young people during match days.
