This is a week of great excitement at Aleimar's headquarters in Italy!
Hudson, the project manager of Little Butterflies, is finally coming to Italy!
We are all looking forward to meet him and let him update us on how the kids are doing. Moreover, this will be the occasion for Hudson to meet other project managers working on similar projects we have in Benin and Ethiopia (you can check Flowers in Bloom out right here).
We believe exchanging knowledge is a powerful way to understand difficult dynamics and to act in the best way possible, especially in the delicate case of kids victims of abuse. These wonderful children and teenagers deserve only the best, and we will always work hard to achieve this.
The other exciting news is that on Friday 18th of October Aleimar is sponsoring an event entirely devoted to this project! Hudson will be a special guest and, together with our volunteer, he will talk about Little Butterflies. Moreover, a photo exhibition will display the harsh reality of the kids victims of abuse, as well as the tough work we do to help them overcome such horrible experiences.
We have even a piece of art specifically made for this event. It is the painting of an amazing butterfly, ready to spread her wings and fly free in the sky.
Regarding the situation in Brazil, the project is currently helping 48 direct beneficiaries, children or teenagers who have been victims of abuse and are now part of a therapeuthic journey with us. If you consider that each family has other 4/5 kids, the project Little Butterflies is actually helping more than 120 kids in total!
But the kids victims of abuse in Brazil constitute a way higher number...
Think about the difference you can make with us! Together we can achieve many great goals, and those kids really need you and your help.
