Dear friends,
As we know, the COVID emergency in Brazil has been and still is dramatic. Our support center for abused children is still closed, but the professionals in charge of their care (doctors, psychologists, lawyers, social workers) can meet the children individually at their offices.
Our contact person, Hudson, is continuing to coordinate the various operators and monitor the situation of the 60 cases currently undergoing treatment.
However, the situation in Brazil is dramatic, not only because of the very high number of infections and deaths. Families who have suffered a loss caused by COVID-19 do not want it to be known as this could isolate them from the rest of society.
While we wait for the reopening of the center, we must continue to build together a better future for our Little Butterflies.
