The Little Butterflies project is going very well and we are so proud of all the work done so far. At the beginning of the academic year -in Brasil starts in the middle of February- the school counted 35 students and it has now arrived to 65 enrolled children. Furthermore, we have just received a really important update: Father Hudson, our local coordinator for the Little Butterflies project, obtained a special mention from the Amazonas’s Legislative State (State Parliament) as recognition for the important commitment he has taken towards these abused children. The mention defined Little Butterflies as one of the best help project. We can’t explain how proud we are for this important recompense: it gave us the right determination to continue taking care of children victims of sexual violence.
This project has changed life and gave back hope to these children. We need more resources to continue to guarantee this assistance to them!
