Dear our valuable supporters:
As we are working on structuring our food truck project, we are happy to announce that we are on our new phase of collaboration. Starting this month, May 2025, we are collaborating with a school called "Showa Gakuen". Showa Gakuen is a school where people with special needs go to learn skills, manners, independence, in order to cope with the real world.
The school will be sending their students to the LIVES KITCHEN as a part of their curriculum, and Hands On Tokyo will work with them to find companies to work at. Once we are able to have a system that will run smoothly, we have a line up of companies that are ready to work with us.
A society where everybody is valued is one of our important vision, and the Hands On Tokyo team and our volunteers strive to put a project together that can realize our vision. Food truck is one of the key tools, and so far, we have made a strong impact on our community and the volunteers.
This project can only continue with the support of people like you and by the end of this year, we are confident that we can have a structure that is sustainable and impactful. Please continue to support us!! For the next report, we will have some voices from the special needs staff who went through our program.
Thank you!!
