Thank You, Donors!
Because of you, 178 students attend Hero School and we employ 27 teachers. Because of you, we have our biggest high school graduating class ever this year. Because of you, we are writing an original curriculum, and our school is united behind the idea that we can use subject matter to fight poverty. Because of you this year, we have already built 7 ventilated stoves, 2 water tanks, a compost latrine, and a retaining wall for people who need our help the most. Because of YOU, we exist, and because we exist, we were also able to facilitate the delivery of a water system in Simajuleu, a small village near Comalapa. We also distributed 225 water filters between Comalapa and another nearby small village! This year, we will also build 10 ventilated stoves, 10 water tanks, 3 compost latrines, and a tire retaining wall in August with students from schools in Comalapa and around Guatemala. Yes we are scaling our model.
