Dear Friends,
Warm greetings from Leyte and thank you very much for your continuing support to our project to provide safe sanitation to survivors of Typhoon Haiyan. It is now more than 2 years and most of international NGO's are gone already but we were able to continue our work with your generous support. We have already established a permanent office with a training center in Albuera, Leyte and this is giving us a big boost. Aside from not paying for rent and other cost, the idea of permanency is a morale booster to our partners in the field.
This time, we continue to build toilets and still using our basic model of low in cost, durable and aspirational. The dry season makes our work a lot more easier since the roads to the interior are passable and transport of materials is a lot easier. We have built a total of 75 toilets already this reporting period and targeting another 50 more.
Again, thank you very much for your generous support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
